Make a tax deductible donation!

Thank you for squeezing us in between your mobile phone and internet bills!  Mater Dei responds to the generosity of its benefactors and donors by offering a monthly Mass for them. Currently, the best way to donate is by cheque made out to ‘Mater Dei Latin Mass’ and mailed here.

The Sunday Collection

As we are currently unable to provide envelopes, we ask that you submit your donations in the donation drop box at the church in a well sealed envelope marked legibly with full name, address (street, P.O. Box/Apt #), city, postal code & amount of offering.   Personal information is essential to issue and mail out a tax receipt for your annual income tax purposes.

Mass Intentions

Remember to submit your Mass intentions!  The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the most powerful prayer!  The Diocese has established the stipend-rate of $15.00 per intention, so, $15 for one, $30 for two, $45 for three, etc.

“It is not simony, or the buying of a sacred thing, or to offer the priest money for saying Mass for our intention.  The priest does not take the money for the Mass itself, but for the purpose of supplying the things necessary for Mass and for his own support”.  ~Baltimore Catechism #930

Please enclose the funds inside an envelope with written intentions for:  the living or deceased, for favours or thanksgiving.  If you desire a specific date, please indicate this as well.  Wait and see Father after Mass, or drop them in the collection box at Sunday Mass. You may stop by the office, or mail them in, too.  If paying by cheque, please make out to ‘Mater Dei Latin Mass’. Mass cards are available at no charge.
